Chanel - Les Exclusifs

Chanel n. 18: A radiant floral fragrance as precious as Fine Jewelry, created by CHANEL Master Perfumer Jacques Polge in 2007. Rare Ambrette -- with its gem-like flowers -- is the centerpiece of a stunning bouquet, with fruity, sweet-smooth notes among its faceted trail.

Eau de Cologne: A bracingly fresh character sparkles at the heart of the citrus-infused scent created by CHANEL Master Perfumer Jacques Polge in 2007. Inspired by an Eau de Cologne that Mademoiselle herself designed, an interplay of Neroli and Bergamot invigorates and refreshes with just a hint of seduction, atop notes of petit grain, herbs and spices.

28 La Pausa: A piquant floral fragrance of delicate Iris, rooted in the Tuscan soil of the French Riviera, where Mademoiselle escaped with friends to her vacation home. Created by CHANEL Master Perfumer Jacques Polge in 2007, it is a scent full of contrasts -- radiant yet delicate, simple yet luxurious, earthy yet powdery -- with a tranquil, soothing character.

Sycomore: A rich-wood fragrance with a noble character -- like the Sycomore tree that inspired it -- created by CHANEL Master Perfumer Jacques Polge in 2008. At the heart of the scent: Vetiver, with an elegant Sandalwood note and dashes of Cypress, Juniper and Pink Pepper, for an earthy, warm and enveloping, yet subtle presence.

Beige: An intense powdery floral of natural elegance and grace -- eponymous for Mademoiselle Chanel's favorite colour. Created by CHANEL Master Perfumer Jacques Polge in 2008, a blend of new white petals and yellow gold flowers are highlighted by hints of honey that reveal its discreet sensuality.

Cuir de Russie: A rich, woody Oriental enhanced with leather notes for an enveloping, warm, sensual presence, created by CHANEL Master Perfumer Ernest Beaux in 1927. Constructed on a base of Albanian Birchwood, its pure heart of Jasmine, Oriental Rose and Ylang-Ylang peaks in a mélange of mingling notes -- Tunisian Orange Blossom, Calabrian Bergamot and Sicilian Mandarin.

Chanel n. 22: A powdery bloom of rich flowers with an accord of sweet, refined and ultra-feminine tuberose, created by CHANEL Master Perfumer Ernest Beaux in 1922. A delicate heart of Oriental Jasmine, Rose and Ylang-Ylang from the Comoro Islands is deepened by base notes of Haitian Vetiver and Bourbon Vanilla. Top notes -- Lily of the Valley, Neroli and aldehydes -- bring a brilliant clarity and sensuous wake.

Gardénia: Sweet and voluptuous, an intense fragrance of absolute femininity. Created by CHANEL Master Perfumer Ernest Beaux in 1925, GARDÉNIA is an olfactive ode to the camellia, Mademoiselle Chanel's favorite flower. A vanilla base rises to meet a heart of sweet fruit and creamy gardenia petals, accented with coconut. Sending the scent aloft: the crisp greens of the flower's morning leaves.

Bois des Îles: An intoxicating, warm, woody Oriental created by CHANEL Master Perfumer Ernest Beaux in 1926. An accord of Sandalwood and Ylang-Ylang spirals in a base of Tonka Bean and Bourbon Vanilla, with heady, enchanting notes of Sicilian Mandarin and Calabrian Bergamot.

31 Rue Cambon: A rich, smooth, elegant floral with a couture character -- inspired by the legendary CHANEL address in Paris -- and created by CHANEL Master Perfumer Jacques Polge in 2007. The warm Chypre accord is set free and made luminous and modern with inviting notes of Bergamot, Patchouli and Cistus oil.

Bel Respiro: A delicate floral evocation of early spring, with its first grass shoots, crushed leaves and idyllic breeze -- inspired by Mademoiselle Chanel's weekend getaway in Garches. Created by CHANEL Master Perfumer Jacques Polge in 2007, notes of tender new greens are nuanced and warmed with fresh leather and aromatic accents that invigorate and refresh.

Coromandel: A voluptuous Oriental fragrance -- an olfactory depiction of the lacquered Coromandel screens Mademoiselle cherished. Created by CHANEL Master Perfumer Jacques Polge in 2007, the elaborate scent unfolds in undulating detail, starting with an amber vibrato, followed by dry notes of Frankincense and Benzoin, then, soulful woody notes that add elegance and depth to the sensuous accord's striking trail.
